I learned last year after having had my house inspected (with a different roofing company) for a storm that came through, that my house and garage had defective shingles and that the pool of money for replacement shingles went dry over … More 10+ years ago.
Devastating/panic news at first, however, if I didn't have the insurance adjuster and initial roofing company out, I would have never known that the shingles were defective.
After having had some runaround and or no response with the initial roofing company that was here with the insurance adjuster and a different company that failed to show for a scheduled appointment, a friend referred me to Chad with Ascension Roofing & Siding.
Chad came out and inspected my roof and agreed that the shingles were defective. He took the time to explain the situation in addition to taking his time to explain that my house and garage would need to be re-decked as neither had what is considered nail-able surfaces.
We also talked about replacing some windows (that I felt needed to be updated- 2 living room drafty windows that were sporting clear plastic and 4 basement rotting windows) in addition to project funding.
Chad is so easy to work with and talk to. Additionally, he was always very prompt with following up on any questions or concerns that came up from start to finish. Outside of being very knowledgeable and honest, he took the guess work out of the equation for me and in my book all those qualities go a long way!
I now have 6 new windows and a brand spanking new roof on my house and garage.
I couldn't be happier with the end results!
