As a family-owned business, we strive to treat our customers just like they are part of our own family! Our philosophy is simple: We make sure that each and every client knows their needs come first. We don’t believe in pressuring anyone into buying services or products they don’t need or want. Instead, we focus on providing an informative consultation and helping clients make educated decisions about their homes and their families.

Brian Christensen - Founder and Manager
Brian Christensen is a native of Minnesota. He has worked in the roofing and siding industry for over a decade. He truly cares about his customers and believes that integrity comes before profit. When Brian is not working, he enjoys spending time on the lake with his kids, attending sporting events and concerts, hunting, and fishing.
Nicole Johnson - Office Manager
Nicole Johnson started with Ascension Roofing & Siding in 2022. Nicole’s favorite part of her job is being able to help homeowners during stressful situations and being able to help ease their mind. In her spare time she enjoys spending time on the local lakes with her two dogs, friends and family!
Chad Finney - Project Manager
Chad Finney has been in the residential construction industry for 6 years. He truly enjoys helping people with their home exterior needs and concerns. Chad enjoys snowmobiling, boating, hunting and fishing. He loves spending time with his family and being involved in his church is very important to him and his family.
Scott Kennedy - Project Manager
Scott Kennedy has been in the exteriors business for over ten years. He likes seeing the transformation in the houses he works on. He has worked with the same crew, and he enjoys seeing how efficent and what a nice job they do! In his spare time he enjoys being on his sea doo, working on projects around his own home, and in the warmer months he enjoys going up north for weekend getaways!
Mike Gensmer - Project Manager
Mike Gensmer grew up in Ham Lake and enjoys being able to bring top-notch customer service to his community. He enjoys making sure his customers are well-informed and understand the process of the project from start to finish. In his spare time, Mike enjoys camping, ice fishing, and spending time with his kids and dogs!
Dan Swezey - Project Manager
Dan grew up on a farm in rural western Minnesota where he helped repair his first roof at the age of 6. Since then, he has worked with almost every roof type and seen products and materials change drastically over the years, as well as the industry as a whole. Dan has been with Ascension for 5 ½ years now and can confidently say he loves his place here. He enjoys the problem-solving aspect of his job and being able to use his past experiences to come up with a unique solution. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and working on dirt track race cars.
