The project
A homeowner in Stacy hired Ascension Roofing & Siding to replace the exterior siding on their home and attached garage. We finished the job in October 2026.
What we did
The photos show the existing tan horizontal lap siding and the brick accents on the home. We took the old siding off and exposed the wall sheathing, which is the OSB panel visible along the garage wall. The walls were then covered with house wrap before the new siding went on.
- Removed the existing lap siding on the garage and house walls
- Wrapped the exposed sheathing with house wrap
- Installed new dark gray horizontal siding
- Installed LP shakes in the gable
- Finished around the window and sliding patio door with dark trim
The result
The finished walls have a consistent dark gray look, with LP shakes finishing the gable. The trim around the window and patio door matches, and the brick on the front of the garage was left in place. This Stacy home now has a clean, uniform exterior.
Ascension Roofing & Siding has served the Twin Cities metro since 2007, and siding is one of the four things we do, along with roofing, windows and gutters. If your home in Stacy or a nearby town needs new siding, contact us for an estimate.
